My poor kids spent much of their summer in Virginia, "sitting on the sofa, not making messes" Probably because that it what they were told to do every day! I love these sweet little faces and will probably miss them a little when almost 1/2 of they head off to school. Maybe then I'll have a fighting chance at keeping the house clean.

Silly faces on lazy bag-o bones

More big events for Landon
Grandma Jones gave Landon a taste for the fun that can be had while sitting, and now he can't get enough of it.
The classic picture of Grandpa Jones holding the baby's in his chair and singing, "All Around the Mulberry Bush" Every baby loves "rocky-by" in Grandpa's big chair, with his big squishy hands.

"Navigation"
One of the highlights of our stay in Taylor with Grandma and Grandpa Hatch was the weekly "navigation turn". For some reason, my kids could not say or remember irrigation. Having sent their childhood in rainy Virginia where there is little need for irrigation or even sprinklers for that matter, muddy water shooting out of the ground, then flooding over a grassy field was a dream. The fun was increased by having cousin Jaden to visit.
The water makes a lazy river, perfect for floating down the dirty, germ infested, probably snake full canals. Good times at Grandpa's!
